B.A. Graves Elementary School band performance
I was one of maybe four flutists, but can be heard in this on piccolo. Most members had only been playing a few years (I was 12), and the school was almost all African-American. But the musical director was skilled, stern, enthusiastic, with high standards. Recorded on cheap mono personal machine under a seat, but pretty good anyway. Encoded from cassette. 39:10
